Cocktail Bartending in South Jersey and at the Shore
Spirit Forward is a Philadelphia based craft cocktail mixology team. We cross the bridge often. A lot of our New Jersey work is at the shore, for companies and for families, and we've been doing it since 2019.
Beach parties, corporate and private
We ran a professional society mixer for seventy guests at the Port O Call on the boardwalk in Ocean City. The menu was built for the setting: Low Tide was vodka with blended citrus, watermelon and sparkling cucumber water. Siesta was blanco tequila with lime and grapefruit and Campari, finished with a rhubarb fog that sits on top of the glass. Fancy Free was bourbon with Luxardo and two kinds of bitters for people who love an old fashioned.
We doubled up on ice to fight the summer sun, but that's part of the game and we make sure we're ready for everything.
Beach weddings
We poured a beach-style wedding reception at the Long Beach Island Foundation for a prominent restaurateur. It ran from nine at night until one in the morning, and we held down into the wee hours.
We've also worked a wedding at a private home in Ocean City, and a Cape May wedding in the books as well.
The big backyard parties
Moorestown has had us twice for a hundred and fifty guests: a graduation party and a St. Patrick's Day party that our own notes call a banger. Different families, five years apart, same town, same scale.
Cocktail classes across New Jersey
We teach private classes throughout the state, in homes and in rentals, for groups of 8 to 30. We bring everything, even the tables.
